FAQs and Contributor GuidelinesBoundless Love is an open zine. All contributors who are eighteen years of age or older when the creation period begins on October 17, 2022 will be accepted regardless of experience, skill level, or social media presence.What ships will you accept?
Off limits ships will include any incestuous ships, any adult/minor ships, and x reader ships.
That said, we will be allowing various shapes of polyamory to be featured. For example, if a character is dating both Miya twins, but the twins are not dating each other, we do not consider that incest and we will accept it as part of the zine.
We will also be allowing characters who were adults pre-timeskip, such as Ukai Keishin, to be in relationships with characters who were minors pre-timeskip, such as Sawamura Daichi, so long as the character who was a minor pre-timeskip is aged up to be an adult.
We will absolutely not accept unhealthy polyamory in any form. This includes cheating, not communicating about other partners, secret relationships, etc. Those things aren’t celebratory of polyamory, and that’s what we’re here to do.How will pitches work?
Contributors will submit up to three (3) pitches by October 24, 2022. Only one will be approved by the mod team. We will do our best to select each contributor’s top choice, however, if a certain ship or character is overrepresented, we may ask some contributors to create for their second or third pitches.
Contributors will be allowed to collaborate with each other.
The moderators are requesting that pitches primarily be kept to content that is on the happier side of the spectrum. We are here, after all, to celebrate polyamory in all its many beautiful forms. Some angst is okay, but we would greatly prefer happy endings.
As previously stated, we are allowing any kind of polyamorous shape to be featured. Within the contributor handbook, there will be information regarding various terms used in the polyam community.
Both canon compliant and alternate universe content will be allowed.
That said, NSFW AUs will be excluded, even if the content planned is SFW. For example, we will not be allowing omegaverse content, since the general concept tends to be NSFW.What are the specifications for fics/art?
There will be no minimum word count for fic. The maximum word count is 3,500 words.
Artists will be asked to create one A4 size piece. If you choose to create a comic, you may take a maximum of 4 pages.
For alternative content, the page/word count maximums are as follows;
Poetry: 2 pages
Article: 3.5k words
Playlist: 2 pages
Recipe: 2 pages
Screenplay: 4 pagesWhen will the check-ins be?
Check-ins will be due on 11/28/2022, 12/19/2022, and 1/30/2023.
At each check-in, we would like to know you are somehow progressing with your piece. You don’t necessarily have to show what you’ve done. It exists more as a reminder that you’re working on something and you will eventually have a deadline.

Final pieces will be due on February 27, 2023. Writing does not need to be beta-ed, as our writing mod will take care of this, but should be complete.How can I buy/support this zine?
The zine will be available for “purchase” from May 1 to July 31, 2023.
A “purchase” will consist of a form in which the buyer uploads a screenshot demonstrating that they have donated at least a certain amount to our charity of choice (the minimum amount will be decided by our interest check). The zine will then be emailed to the buyer.
The charity “area” will be chosen by interest check. The charity itself will be voted on by contributors and announced at a later date.
